Take Care of Your Drawing Equipment!
It Will Provide Tons of Pleasure!
Take care of your drawing equipment so it will last longer and will be there when you need it.
Listed below are the steps that you should take to make sure that your equipment is properly stored.
When you’re done drawing:
- Stack your paper neatly.
- Put your drawing away in a folder or portfolio.
- Keep your conté crayons, chalks and charcoal in a box with a lid.
You can use:
- an artist’s storage box.
- A tackle box.
- A plastic sandwich-keeper with a lid.
- Or any recycled box you like.
Pencils and dip pens, (clean the nibs first), should be stored with their points up in old coffee cans.
Markers or felt tip pens should be stored with their caps on and points down to keep them from drying out.
Follow these guidelines and you will be able to enjoy your drawing equipment for a long time to come.
